Critical illness is an optional insurance that provides you with a lump sum payment should you be diagnosed with a critical illness, such as multiple sclerosis or stroke. You can also obtain optional insurance for your spouse or your children.

If you apply within 31 days of your eligibility date, proof of good health is not required up to a certain amount.
