Alfred’s tip

Before submitting a claim to the insurance plan or using flex dollars deposited in your Personal spending account (PSA) or your Health spending account (HSA), check if another plan covers that type of expense. You can also consult the home page, click on Taking care of yourself or Taking care of others and discover which benefits could suit your needs. • You can get free consultations through the Employee and family assistance program (EFAP)
  • You can claim psychologist consultation fees through your medical coverage. The reimbursement percentage will depend on the option you chose (Core, Balanced or Enhanced)
  • If you wish, you can use your HSA to claim the percentage not covered by your selected option and amounts exceeding the maximums
